Yo Unstoppable One,

1) VIP INVITATION TO THE FIRST ANNUAL ACTORS FILM SCHOOL FILM FESTIVAL & AFTER PARTY
WHAT: The Actors Film School Film Festival

WHY: An opportunity to see the 12 awesome short films my students and I shot over this past year through my Actors Film School program, meet the filmmakers/actors, see what Actors Film School is all about, and meet some really cool people!  If you love movies and the arts, come!  If you are thinking about attending Actors Film School, come see why my film school is the only one you need to consider.  If you're just looking for something fun to do on a Saturday night, welcome. :)

WHERE: The beautiful and classy Helen Mills Theater in Manhattan (137-139 26th Street, 10001)  Why 137 TO 139?  Because it's a real theater, with real street access, and FIVE ENTRANCE DOORS, just like a Broadway theater.  This place rocks.

WHEN: Saturday, August 15th, 7 - 9PM; AFTER PARTY immediately afterwards next door from 9 - 11PM at the Black Door bar.

COST: FREE

RSVP FOR SCREENING: The theater only holds 144 people.  60 seats are reserved for guests of the filmmakers.  That leaves about 84 seats for media, industry, and other guests.  If you would like to come, it's on a first come first serve basis and you MUST be on the guest list: please reply with your full name, whether you intend/want to bring a guest(s), and whether you are a 'potential' or a 'DEFINITE'.  Definites get priority.  I will send out confirmations / overbook notices shortly.  If you are a member of the media or industry in some reasonably prominent way, tell me: that will put you at the top of the list, and will more likely ensure you a spot.  If you are interested in coming, reply immediately.  YOUR NAME MUST BE ON THE GUEST LIST.

RSVP FOR AFTER PARTY: There is no limit to how many may attend the After Party.  I am going to send a separate evite invitation regarding the after party with all details.  Keep an eye out for it.

2) FREE SEMINAR: How To Produce Your Own Projects (in ten easy steps)

WHAT: Monroe Mann teaches you "How to Produce Your Own Projects"

WHY: Learn how to produce your own music, film, and stage projects.

3) INSPIRING EXCERPT FROM MY BOOK 'BATTLE CRIES FOR THE UNDERDOG'

Battle Cry # 50: "The men who try to do something and fail are infinitely better than those who try to do nothing and succeed." - Lloyd George

FIGHTIN' WORDS: Most people--if you think about it--are wildly successful--but not at succeeding.  Most people are wildly successful at giving up on their dreams, giving in to obstacles, and succumbing to a life of mediocrity, totally contrary to their ambition, and totally contrary to their professed character.  In the end, though, character is what you are going to be remembered for.  All that will matter is who you are; not what you are.  So ask yourself.  Are you someone of principles; of standars?  The type that doesn't give up on dreams?  Of course you are.  THAT is what matters.  Your character matters.  And by striving for that perfection of character, you will inevitably benefit from its spectacular by product--success.  Have the guts to become someone of successful character.  At the very least, you'll succeed at taking chances--something to be greatly proud of.  More likely, you'll succeed in reaching your wildest dreams.  So try doing something, even if you think you'll fail.  Something great.  Something wild.  Just try.  And when you fail, just get back up and realize you're already 'better' than all those who never even gave it a shot. -- Monroe Mann

4) NEED YOUR FEEDBACK

By the way, seriously, check out these two links.  Post some comments.  I am sincerely curious what you think of not only these two songs as pieces of writing (which many say are my two best written songs ever), but I am also curious about the performance.  What went well?  What can I improve upon?  I really want to become the best that I can be.  Thanks so much for your feedback!

P.S. - Check out my new Time Management Program; my Actors Film School short film program; and my career, financial, and marketing coaching program.  Remember: if you'd like to chat with me (at no charge) for 20 minutes about your particular situation, I would be more than happy to do so.  Call me!  646.764.1764 (c) and 914.481.1641 (o).
