Business Tip From: (The 48 Laws of Power)

BUSINESS TIP FROM: (The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene)

Robert Greene wrote this amazing book called, "The 48 Laws of Power".  If you haven't read it yet... do so immediately.  I mean IMMEDIATELY.  Of the thousands of magnificently profound strategies in the book, one jumps out at me.

He writes, "Patience will protect you from making moronic blunders.  Like mastering your emotions, patience is a skill--it does not come naturally.  But nothing about power is natural; power is more godlike than anything in the natural world.  And patience is the supreme virtue of the gods, who have nothing but time.  Everything good will happen--the grass will grow again, if you give it time and see several steps into the future.  Impatience, on the other hand, only makes you look weak.  It is a principal impediment to power."

Well said, would you not agree?  You absolutely MUST have a long-term time perspective if you hope to succeed at any major endeavor.  Stop thinking about tomorrow.  As the Bible says, "Tomorrow will take care of itself."  What you need to be thinking about is TEN YEARS from tomorrow!  Don't make your decisions based on the impact they will have tomorrow; make your decisions based on the impact they will have ten years from now.  This strategy will prevent you from making rash decisions.

On that note, I know it's gonna take you a while to read the 48 Laws of Power, but big deal, right?  You're thinking long-term now baby!  On that note, be sure to also read The Theatrical Juggernaut by Monroe Mann!  And call me up!
